Joe Loftus Will Be At Christian Country Expo 2016

Joe Loftus joins the growing list of artist at Christian Country Expo In Pigeon Forge Tn August 15th – 18th www.christiancountryexpo.com

Joe Loftus can’t remember a time when he wasn’t surrounded by music. His Irish mother raised 10 kids and she credited music for giving her the strength to carry on. Joe started memorizing songs at the age of 7 because he loved the power of singing. He bought his first guitar when he was in the U.S. Navy in 1963. After the Navy, he played with his brother frequently around hundreds of campfires. In

1980 Joe entered a treatment center to deal with alcohol abuse. God’s love delivered him from drinking and it was there that he began writing songs. Joe has been writing and singing ever since.

In 2013 Joe signed with HMG Nashville who began promoting his songs and getting his air play on the radio. He has three cds out, “American Pride,” “You Can’t Take the US from the USA” and “When I Get to Heaven.” All 11 songs which have been released to radio have charted on Power Source inspirational country chart. Seven charted in the top 20. In 2014 Joe was in the top 5 nominations for New Artist of the Year. In 2015 he was blessed to be in the top 5 for Songwriter of the Year, the top ten for Inspirational Song of the Year and in the top ten for Video of the Year.

Joe has three videos out: “When I Get to Heaven,” Those Days That We Spent on the Farm” and “My Father’s Voice.”

Joe’s music reflects the simple things of life: a struggling young mother, a hardworking farmer, a man without a job worried about supporting his family. He speaks directly to the heart about the real issues we all face and brings God’s grace and encouragement to each situation.

Joe spends a good deal of his spare time singing and playing guitar at nursing homes with two friends. They love seeing the residents come in looking tired and hopeless and watching them transform as the music they remember gets them clapping and even dancing.

Joe has written and copyrighted over 100 songs and prays that God would continue to use his words and music to spread His hope. Joe Loftus lives in Hudson, Wisconsin with his wife Jane.
